Metta App was created by David Noyce as a Freemium app. This Service is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is. This Privacy Policy describes the way Metta App (we, us) collects and uses the personal data of anyone who chooses to use the Service (you, users). We do not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
How We Collect and Use Personal Information
Your Notebook entries, Well-wishes and Saved Lists are stored locally on your device only, unless you choose to share Notebook entries in Assistant Permissions.
Saved Assistant conversations may be reviewed to improve the Service; any personal information shared with the assistant is not disclosed or used for any other purpose.
When you create an account on Metta App you can use an e-mail address or Sign In with Apple. If you use Sign In with Apple with your name, we will also collect this information.
If you delete your account, your personal information is deleted.
Service Providers
We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:
- To facilitate our Service;
- To provide the Service on our behalf;
- To perform Service-related services; or
- To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.
These third parties may have access to your Personal Information in order to perform these tasks. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only while it is needed to provide the Service, or until you delete your account.
Notebook entries, Well-wishes, and Saved Lists are stored on your device only. We do not store or retain this data on our servers, unless you choose to share Notebook entries in Assistant Permissions.
Account information (your email address, and your name if you use Sign In with Apple) is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, this personal information is deleted and is not retained.
Saved Assistant conversations are retained while your account is active so we can provide the Service. As described above, they may be reviewed to improve the Service. They are deleted when you delete your account.
We do not retain your personal information after you delete your account, except where the law requires us to keep it.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
